Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt

To honor the world’s original fashion icon [well, maybe not exactly], National Geographic and Arts & Exhibitions International is presenting a new exhibition “Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt”. With help from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities and the IEASM, the exhibition will feature never before seen artifacts, and take visitors inside the present-day search for Cleopatra, which extends from the sands of Egypt to the depths of the Bay of Aboukir near Alexandria.

Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute is the current host of this exhibition until January 2nd 2011. As of right now, there are no other tour dates confirmed. However, if you lust after the Egyptian aesthetic, you can purchase a few accessories online.
